Alpine Rent-A-Car Ltd is seeking to recruit an Assistant Accountant.

The ideal candidate should:

  • Have a minimum of two (2) years working experience in an accounting position.

  • Posses good knowledge of Microsoft Excel.

  • Knowledge of Shireburn Financial software is an asset.

  • Be meticulous and highly organised.

  • Ability to work as part of a team and individually to carry out duties assigned.

Duties will include:

  • Handling the day to day accounting operations

  • Accounting up to trial balance stage

  • Assisting in management accounts preparation

  • Assisting in payroll

  • Reconciling supplier statements and receivables statements

  • Checking invoices and issuing payments

  • Performing bank reconciliations

  • Other office duties as required from time to time
