Aircraft Corporate Services

Aircraft Corporate Services (Malta) Limited provides legal assistance to clients in the registration of aircraft and related corporate services. Aircraft Corporate Services (Malta) Limited identified a niche in the legal market following the introduction of an innovative piece of legislation – the Aircraft Registration Act 2010 (the “Act”). The Act not only ratifies the Cape Town Convention thereby providing comfort to financial institutions as a creditor friendly jurisdiction but also introduces such progressive concepts as the registration of aircraft under construction, the registration of engines and the fractional ownership of aircraft.

The Maltese government, keen to mirror the success of their maritime register in the field of aviation, have not only adopted the most robust creditor-friendly version of the Cape Town Convention but have ensured that there are significant remedies available in the event of default, allowing for the de-registration and repossession of an aircraft within short time frames. The Act complements the success of existing aircraft maintenance operations in Malta and the growth of a cluster of aviation services relating to finance, leasing and management of aircraft.

The new legislation combined with an aviation tax package is unrivalled in other European countries.

Aircraft Corporate Services (Malta) Limited is one of only a few organisations in Malta registered with the International Registry as a Professional User Entity thereby being able to register transactions.

Based in Malta, we enjoy excellent working relationships with the local Civil Aviation Directorate, customs authorities and Malta International Airport, thus enabling us to provide an effective and efficient service. We provide a one-stop shop for our clients, offering a complete range of services. Our team is dedicated and responsive to both the needs of our clients and changing market conditions
